Welcome

My name is Britney Boden and I have the honor of being the President of the Delta Chi chapter of Alpha Phi at William Woods University. This house has incredibly impacted my life for the better, and I don’t know where I would be without these girls. 

I am from a town in Illinois called Quincy. I loved growing up in Quincy because of the atmosphere of the town. I went to a small private high school and graduated with a class of 96 people. Family is very important to me and I try and go home and see my family as much as possible. I have a dog named Axel and a younger sister that I spend most of my time with when I am at home. I am a Business Administration major with a double minor in Equestrian Science and Equestrian Administration. I currently ride in the Western barn here on campus. I have also held multiple positions in the house, such as VP Finance and was the Director of Finance before that. 

            This chapter is an amazing example of what a strong willed and independent group of girls are able to accomplish. All of the girls that come through this house inspire me to be the best I can possibly be. Even as a freshman the current members were so welcoming and kind that I knew from day 1 this is where I wanted to be. This chapter has accomplished so much, from gaining a new local philanthropy, to having girls in almost every club and organization on campus. All of the girls show pride in their work and truly strive to fulfill the full ideals of Alpha Phi. 

            Alpha Phi has truly impacted my life for the better. I have been so honored and humbled to be able to work with all of these girls on a day to day basis and I can not wait to see what the future has in store for this chapter.
