Every chapter of Alpha Phi is united by a single goal when it comes to philanthropy.

Internationally, Alpha Phi’s philanthropy focuses on women’s heart health. To support this, we organize various events to raise money for The Alpha Phi Foundation. The Alpha Phi Foundation divides donations into several categories including women’s heart health, scholarships and leadership programs. Our chapter holds four main events annually to raise money and we have a lot of fun while doing it.

We also have adopted our local philanthropy, Our House, a local homeless shelter here in Fulton, MO. Every semester we donate, volunteer, and make an impact in several people's lives.

Mac n phis

Those who donate to our philanthropy get to eat from a full-service mac n cheese bar, play fun games, and enjoy good music. It is always a great success and we are excited to continue this tradition in upcoming years.

Heartthrob

One member from each fraternity or sorority can enter to compete for the title of Mr. and Ms. Heartthrob every year. Contestants are judged on a fashion round, talent round, and Alpha Phi trivia round. All entry fees are donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation and we love seeing the support we get from other greek organizations.

Ivy league

Each fall our chapter hosts a week of fun activities, along with getting to watch skits and serenades from other fraternities and sororities. Proceeds from the week's events go to the Alpha Phi Foundation in support of women's heart health. There's never a dull moment during Ivy League, and it's all for a great cause!

Red dress gala

Red Dress Gala is held annually during the spring semester. Families, friends and alumnae are invited to enjoy an elegant afternoon of refreshments and a silent auction at a formal venue. Attendees are encouraged to wear red as a reminder of our commitment to women's heart health. Although, due to COVID-19 we have been unable to host our annual Red Dress Gala this year. We are anticipating to host our next Red Dress Gala in the spring of 2022!

OUR HOUSE

Our House consists of two houses, the Wiley House and the Haven House. The Wiley House is an overnight shelter for single men and women and the Haven House is a transitional shelter for families. Every semester we collect items to donate to the shelters and we go volunteer by cleaning the houses, organizing supplies, or painting. As Alpha Phi's we strive to make a difference in people's lives, and Our House allows us Phi's to do just that!
